Zu den bekanntesten Alweg-Projekten in den 1960er Jahren gehören Planungen für einen Ausbau der Bahn in Turin, für eine Bahn in Los Angeles, eine Industriebahn und eine Intercity-Verbindung (Tel Aviv - Jerusalem) in Israel, eine Stadtbahn in Mexico City, Bahnen in England und für eine Stadtbahn in Frankfurt, auch für ein Projekt in der damaligen CSSR. - Die Alweg Gesellschaft in Köln war für Projekte in Europa (außer England) zuständig, während die Wegematic Corporation in Amerika für Projekte in Süd-, Mittel- und Nordamerika und England und auch denen in Israel verantwortlich war.
Among the best known Alweg projects during the 1960s were proposals for an extension of the Turin exhibition line, for Los Angeles, an industrial railway and an intercity line (Tel Aviv - Jerusalem) in Israel, a citywide system for Mexico City, lines in England and for a citywide system in Frankfurt; as well as for the former CSSR. - The Cologne offices of the Alweg Company were responsible for proposals in Europe (except England), while the American Wegematic office was responsible for projects in South, Central and North America as well as in England and also those in Israel.
